Hello RHBC Parents!  I am writing to ask for your help at our baptism and communion service this Sunday night at 6:00pm at the home of Bill and Lee Wolfe (details are following).  If you are planning to come, we would like to ask you to  bring a side item or dessert for dinner.  We are having hot dogs and will be providing the drinks, etc., we would just love it if everyone could bring some of their favorite sides!  Also, don’t forget to bring your lawn chairs or blankets so you will have a comfy place to sit.

Hope you can all make it to the service–it is an awesome thing to watch our students be obedient to Christ by being baptized, and this year we will have about 10 students participating! See you there!

World Changers

World Changers is a challenging week where high school students use needs based missions to impact communities for Christ. Using construction projects to meet people’s needs empowers students to witness with families, while their own walk with Christ is taken to the next level.

In the evening, students enjoy quality worship, camp-wide fellowship activities and church group devotions. The cost includes meals throughout the week, lodging, travel, and a t-shirt.

High School Juniors, this is your chance to be a 2009 Middle School Beach Blast Leader!  Every year, our high school juniors (rising seniors) get the privilege of leading Bible Study groups for Middle School Beach Blast.  Many students have said that this opportunity was one of the most impactful things they have done in their time in the youth ministry.  Don’t miss out on your chance to be a leader.  Fill out the application posted below and return it to Bart Cook by Sunday, April 12^th for your chance to serve as a leader (drop it off in the Attic, by the office, or email it to Bart at bart@riverlandhills.org)!

Every year, youth from Riverland Hills travel to Garden City Chapel and Retreat Center to build friendships, relax on the beach, and grow spiritually.

At Beach Blast, you will have the opportunity to participate in small group Bible studies led by high school or college students, and large group sessions led by the praise band and youth staff. Plus, with activities like going to Broadway at the Beach, you can be assured you will never be bored! Make sure you sign up for Beach Blast today! Remember, money Reserves Your Spot!
